Bitcoin nears 24 thousand dollars, slight gains in other altcoins

The price of bitcoin is trading at $22,892 (about Rs 18.31 lakh) on global exchanges such as CoinMarketCap, Coinbase and Binance. Data from CoinGecko shows that bitcoin is currently up over 13.3 percent in week-to-day performance.

There has also been a slight decline in Ether today. However, the world’s second largest cryptocurrency started the week with gains. At the time of writing this, the price of Ether on the Indian crypto exchange Coinswitch Kuber was at $1524 (approximately Rs 1.22 lakh). At the same time, the price of Ether was trading at $ 1488 (about Rs 1.20 lakh) on global exchanges. Its global value has declined by 4.65 percent in the last 24 hours.
